Epic: A Journey Through Church History

If you were asked about the Crusades, the Inquisition, "The Dark Ages", the Galileo affair... what would you say? Starting this September 14th, we will be going through a 20-part series covering the history of the Catholic Church. This will be a great learning opportunity and a chance to equip yourselves with answers to those tough questions.

Father Lappe will be using a DVD series titled, Epic: A Journey Through Church History presented by Steve Weidenkoph.  Following each video segment will be a time for discussion and questions.

What Archbishop Charles Chaput has to say about it

One of the key things many Catholics have lost since Vatican II is a sense of their own history. The future depends on our actions in the present, and the present depends on our memory of the past. Epic: A Journey Through Church History fills an urgent need for adult Catholics to recover their history as a believing community, debunk false criticisms of their Church, and understand the Christian underpinnings of the modern world. This is a vivid, thorough and engaging program. I heartily recommend it.
