Memorial Day

Two things I wanted to share for this Memorial Day Weekend:

National Moment of Remembrance

The National Moment of Remembrance occurs each year at 3:00 PM on Memorial Day. At that time we should take a moment and bring to mind all of those who have fought for our country.  Take this time to offer a prayer, by yourself or with family, especially for those who have given their lives in the defense of our country.

Holy Cards for the Troops

CatholicPrayerCards.org
is having a neat promotion in honor of Memorial Day this weekend. For every holy card you purchase from their website, they will send two holy cards to troops!

Our prayers go out to all of our soldiers and their families this Memorial Day. We want to say thank you to our troops and honor the memory of those who have given their lives for our freedoms. During this weekend only we will send 2 free holy cards to the troops for every holy card you order. For example if you order 50 Holy Cards, we'll send 100 free cards to the troops. If you order 200, we'll send 400 free holy cards to our soldiers, etc...

They have a great selection of holy cards and can even make custom ones (my wife and I had custom ones made for our wedding). Check it out!
