There is an excellent article written by Sandro Magister about the six major accusations leveled against Pope Benedict since his papacy began in 2005. It is worthwhile to read, but I mainly wanted to share its conclusion:
Why is this pope so under attack, from outside of the Church but also from within, in spite of his clear innocence with respect to the accusations?
